When you wake up, the world will come around.
unfair.
So is justice.
You were wronged, and then chastised for being wronged. What a messed up world.
Or so I’d like to think.
Start of school tomorrow. I think I’m ready. I hope I’m ready. Finally got ROTC, so now I don’t have to load rev. Will be meeting my fencing coach tomorrow and my Theo and Fil profs. I hope to God they’re both competent and non-terror.
I’d like to make this year a good one. I didn’t start college with as big a bang as I’d hope, so now I want to make amends. Especially since this is the year I’ll turn eighteen, well…I really, really want to make this one a year worth remembering.
:)
Reading about other people’s fervor on something I myself should be passionate about just makes me feel inadequate. Also, motivated.
I can’t keep being mediocre and so-so. I’ve got bigger plans than that, surely.
So this year—my coming of age year too, oh joy—I want to change things.
